Tracereporters –The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Kaduna state chapter wishes to rejoice with Alhaji Alhassan Yahya Abdullahi, as the new elected President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the first ever female Deputy National President Dr Abimbola Oyetunde to pilot the affairs of NUJ.
This was contain in a press Statement signed by kaduna state chairman and secretary, Fatima Aliyu and Maureen Sheyin said that the, the peaceful and overwhelming support delegates gave in voting you into office is a clear indication that there is total confidence reposed in your ability to rejuvenate Nigeria journalists to greater heights.
According to the statement, “The association expresses confidence that under the leadership of Alhassan Yahya Abdullahi and Dr. Abimbola Oyetunde, the NUJ will continue to champion and uphold professional ethics, and advocate for the welfare of journalists across the country.
“We sincerely believed that your tenure will witness great things that will come the way of journalists in the country.
