Tracereporters –Kaduna Reps Member and House Committee Chairman on Sports, Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams has reassured his constituent members of his commitment to the wellbeing of his people.
This is as the Lawmaker stated that governance is accountability to the people and as such will continue to engage relevant stakeholders at the grassroots to know that major challenges and to appropriately address them.
Ekene, member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in Kaduna at the weekend met with critical community stakeholders in his constituency to share his accomplishments and to also listen to their concern as part of his efforts to offer quality representation.
Represented by his Director General, DG Campaign Office, Mr. Ezekiel Samuel Ekene remarked that his administration will focus more on inclusive dialogue as platform to explore ideas tantamount to sustainable growth and development.
He added that the event is in a bid to sit down and carefully analyzed his one year in office and also to see where he can channel his energy in the next phase of his projects.
Appreciating individual’s contribution to the success of his political campaign during the 2023 general elections, Ekene doled out the sum of Five Million Naira to Chief Morrison Ikpeamaeze, who was the Chairman of the Labour Party’s All Support Groups in Kaduna state during the 2023 electioneering period.
He also donated one million Naira to Mrs. Stella Ezekiel, the wife of Late former Narayi PDP Ward Chairman, Mr. Ezekiel Kantiok for her welfare, while other participants received an undisclosed amount for their Sallah celebration.
Speaking at the one day roundtable meeting, Mr. Dennis Mikat commended Ekene for the transformers distributed to various areas in the constituency and urged him to also assist farmers with fertilizers so as to take advantage of the rainy season for food security.
