Tracereporters –The Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Uba Sani has partner with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in addressing the insecurity challenges that has affected the education sector.
He said that the state has been working to address the insecurity challenges that have affected the education sector in the state and thereby moved to join forces with police.
The partnership with the Nigeria Police Force is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen security in schools and provide a safe learning environment for students.
According to Governor Uba Sani, “the state government has implemented several measures to strengthen security in schools, including merging schools in conflict-prone areas, fencing, and deploying security personnel.
He emphasized the importance of psychological operations and strategic communication to win the hearts and minds of the people and rebuild local economies.
The Schools Protection Squad (SPS) will work closely with local communities to gather intelligence and prevent potential crises. The state government has demonstrated its commitment to addressing the root causes of insecurity and ensuring that schools are safe and secure.
According to Malam Sani Liman Kila, Chief of Staff to the Governor, who represented Senator Uba Sani, said this partnership is a significant step towards ensuring that schools in Kaduna State are protected from the threats of banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of insecurity.
The state government and the Nigeria Police Force, Kila said, are committed to working together to provide a safe and secure environment for students to learn and succeed.
