Tracereporters –The Kaduna Democratic League has commended the Member Representing the Jaba constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon Henry Marah Zachariah for damning the consequences of possible suspension and denial of certain privileges in the Lugard Hall and calling for the probe of the loans incurred by the El-Rufai’s led administration.
According to the Press Statement Signed by the spokesperson Jerry Madaki, “We recall with sadness, how despite the obvious suffocating impact of the loans on the state economy, the house did not listen to the motion sponsored by the erudite member representing Jaba Constituency, thereby forcing him to address a press conference alone in his office.
“We are glad that today, he has been vindicated with the house resolution to invite certain persons who played active roles in the acquisition and spending of the loans during the last administration for investigation.
“We wish to urge Honourable Henry to continue on this path of courage, even if he will trail it alone as history has proven that the majority can be wrong while the minority is adjudged right.
”We wish to also call on other members in the state assembly to realize that they are representing the people and not themselves, hence, the need for them to always speak on things that affect their constituents not only they are propelled to do so.
