Tracereporters–The Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing their illustrious son of Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa as Chief of Defence Staff CDS.
In a press statement signed by Samuel T. Achie, ACDA President on 23rd June 2023 and made available tracereporters in Kaduna, also hailed the Governor of kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, for identifying with the appointment of the CDS.
According to the statement, “we received with gratitude the cheering news on the appointment of Maj. Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa an illustrious Son of Zango Kataf LG Kaduna State as the Chief Of Defence Staff CDS.
“This appointment is well deserving and an indication that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu means well for our dear country, the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I commend the President for this bold step which I believe is putting round pegs in round holes that will further solidify Nigeria’s Unity and strengthens the nations coexistence.
“On behalf of the Atyap Community Development Association, I congratulate the CDS on this appointment.
The appointment never came to us as a surprise as your track record in the Nigerian Army both within and outside Nigeria stands you out for this feat.
“ACDA pray for God’s guidance and protection to enable you give Nigerians the long desired peace in the nation.
“It is not going to be an easy task, but we are also confident that you are well able to surmount these challenges God helping you.
“I want to at this point thank His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding our illustrious son worthy of his trust to work with him in this capacity. I assure Mr. President that you will never regret this singular decision.
“As President of ACDA, I wish to also commend the Governor of kaduna State His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, for identifying with the appointment of the CDS, which is an indication that the CDS will be given all the necessary support to succeed in this assignment.
“To the Zangon Kataf local Government Chairman i say congratulations to what the Lord has done for the entire LG.
“To our father the Agwatyap, and to all those that felicitate with this appointment, I say congratulations to all of us and prayed God to bless and spare our lives to witness that celebration of total peace and security in Nigeria, Kaduna State and the Southern Kaduna region in particular”.
