Tracereporters –The Arewa Youth Assembly (AYA) has officially endorsed Abbas Tajudeen, the current member Representing Zaria Federal Constituency, for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 9th National Assembly.

Clerk on the 15th march 2023 and made available to Tracereporters in Kaduna, highlighted Tajudeen’s education, experience, and reputation as a bridge builder, noting that he is the best candidate for the position.
Furthermore, the AYA has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone the position of Speaker to the Northwest, in line with the principles of equity, fairness, and justice.
The group believes that such a move will not only strengthen the party’s base in the region but also foster unity and inclusiveness in the country.
In addition, the AYA has urged the APC to zone the position of Senate President to the South, citing the need for national cohesion and inclusion. The group emphasized that this move would ensure that all regions of the country are carried along in the affairs of the Senate and that the interests of all Nigerians are well represented.
The Arewa Youth Assembly believes that these measures are crucial to achieving a more united and prosperous Nigeria, and they urge the APC to act in the best interest of the country as they make decisions regarding these key positions in the National Assembly.
