Tracereporters –As the political campaign for Governorship and House of Assembly elections gathers momentum, all Kaduna state Labor Party Support Groups has changed its campaign approach to target the people of kaduna state.
The support groups said it decided to go that way because of the massive love and affection that LP Governorship candidate, Jonathan Asake has shown the people of the Kaduna state which were clearly demonstrated in his choice of deputy Bashir Idris Aliyu
The Deputy Governorship candidate Bashir Idris Aliyu who represented the gubernatorial candidate met the various groups on Wednesday said they are determined to participate in the electoral process that would herald the emergence of quality political leaders.
They have activated the structures of the groups across the state which would work throughout the election.
He said that Obidents constitute a larger percentage of electorates in kaduna and other big cities in Nigeria. And they have credible support groups through which they could be reached and convinced to support Asake.
Bashir advised Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to rig this election adding that Nigerians are ready to protect their votes.
According to him, “we are trying very hard to produce all the governors in North West, North East and also envisage North Central, our hope is not lost yet,
“People used religion, ethnicity but we have our God at our disposal and we are fully ready to go into elections.
The Labor Party support groups in Kaduna state are in thousands, coordinated by Think Tank of Quality Leadership and Good Governance
