Tracereporters –The victory of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his Vice President, Senator Kashima Shettima of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was described as a sacrosanct verdict of the Nigerian masses.
The description was made by Adamawa State Senator Grace Jackson Bent with a call on both the PDP and Labor party’s Presidential candidates never to waste their time by going to court.
According to her engaging in a legal tussle on the widely adjudged most credible election will amount to only unnecessary distraction to hold down the process of leadership to thrive.
She said it’s only going to lead them in exercise in futility with no positive impact in the judiciary and democratic systems.
Grace who is a senior party member of APC said that the last election results were a true reflection of Nigerians honest votes and that they don’t need to waste their time and resources.
The legislator who represented the Adamawa Southern zone (2007-2011) congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashi Shettima for a well-deserved victory.
“I believe in the duo style of leadership, the ticket will unite us more than the thinking of many who are selfish to look at it from the religious point of view.
“I wish them good tenure in office, I know in their ticket Nigerians will smile again,” Grace said
