Nationwide Strike: Kaduna NLC, CSO, CSO, NGOs, Civil Servants, All Stakeholders To Participate In The Protest
Trace Reporters –The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) kaduna State branch has insisted on going ahead with its earlier planned strike and protest, with effect from September 28, 2020, following the failure of the Federal Government to reverse the increases in electricity tariff and fuel price.
In a statement made available to Tracereporters in kaduna stated that, “In respect of the directives of the National body of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Kaduna State Council calls on all affiliates unions to mobilize their members for a peaceful protest scheduled to take place on 28th September, 2020 from Ranchers Bees Stadium to Lugard Hall by 7:00AM prompt.
“All Civil Servants, Civil Society Organizations, Non Governmental Organizations and all stakeholders on labour matters are expected to participate in the peaceful protest against the hike in electricity and petroleum pump price which has added to the suffering and hardship to Nigerians.
“Enough is Enough, we say no to electricity and fuel pump price hike.
“The Struggle Continue Until Victory Is Ascertained.
