Trace Reporters –Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Mubi came into fruition as it was test runs today after seventeen years of its construction work and waiting by the people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District for its full operation.
The Yola NTA General Manager (GM), Musa Usman Shehu at the palace of the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu said they are in Mubi to test run the new station for full operation.
He praised Federation representative Lawmaker representing the people of Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha, Hon Ja’afar Abubakar Magaji to have stood his ground to see the actualization of the NTA station.
He described Magaji as an example of better representation whose stewardship is mainly for the good people of Mubi and humanity in general.
“Today we’ve come with all equipment to test run the Mubi NTA which was abandoned seventeen years ago, but your Son, Hon Ja’afar Magaji has played a role that today the station can be viewed as any other stations in the country,” Musa said
Magaji on a telephone conversation told our correspondent that the neglected project has been an agenda that he must live to see its fruition.
He said the seventeen years of waiting on the national television station to start working has finally come.
According to him his tireless efforts on reaching out to the Minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to bring into operation the neglected Mubi NTA to the benefit of Adamawa state’s people, especially the people of the three local governments area is representing in the national assembly as a federal lawmaker.
Magaji who delegated his steering committee and his legislative aides witnessed the test running and described the success as an achievement for the people of entire Mubi Emirate.
Ja’afar also said his much time, resources and strength he has put to see the station being kick-started have paid off well.
He assured his constituents that more are coming as he has vowed to represent them well with good bills, motions and federal government presence.
