Tracereporters –Tsaunin Kura GRA residents Association (Sabon Tasha GRA) yesterday commended Governor Nasir el-Rufai for his efforts to reposition the state in all strata of development, adding that they are equally prepared to compliment Government’s efforts in their community.

The President General of the association, Comrade Dr Silas Adamu stated this yesterday shortly after inaugurating various committees for the effective administration of the community.

According to him, the government under the leadership of Mallam el-Rufai is doing well in various sectors and that as a community they are also doing their best to assist the government since the government alone cannot do all.

He however reiterated their call and appeal for the government to come to their assistance in the area of capital projects such as road construction, drainages and also in the area of security provision which he lamented is becoming almost insurmountable by the community.

Ten committees for the smooth running of the association were inaugurated, this include the Board of Trustees (BoT) under the Chairmanship of Dr Sheyin Alhamdu, legal committee to be chaired by Mr. Joseph Akoji, Media Committee to be Chaired by Okpani Jacob Dickson Onjewu and Roads and drainages committee under the Chairmanship of Engr. Emmanuel Ayeni.

Other committees are Security Committee to be Chaired by Mr Cletus Ogbonna, Finance committee with Mr Silas Jonah as Chairman, Electricity committee with Mr Cletus Ogbonna as Chairman, Waste management committee with Danladi Musa as Chairman, Women and youth committees with Mrs Cecilia Zingina and Mr Jonah Adua Kure as chairmen respectively.

The various committees are expected to submit their reports within one month.

In a vote of thanks, the Vice President General, Mr. Joseph Attah tasked landlord’s in the community to do their part by ensuring prompt and up to date payment of ground rents to the Kaduna State Government.

He thanked members of the community for standing solidly behind the executives, a noble gesture, which has made their jobs easier.
