Tracereporters –As the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare Clocks 54 today, the Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria, SWAN, has joined other well wishers across the World in celebrating with the Minister on the occasion of his birthday.
SWAN President, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona, and the entire National Executive Council, NEC, of the Association described Sunday Dare as a game changer, whose unlimited creativity is already shaping the industry for better.
In a statement signed by the Association’s Secretary General, Comrade Mike Oboh, wishes the Minister a year filled with good luck, good health, and much happiness.
Aigbona commends the Minister’s discipline, diligence and courage, which according to the SWAN leader has graciously translated into transforming the Sports industry.
In the congratulatory message, SWAN also applauds the Minister’s steps taken in prioritising the welfare of those who have contributed to the Sports industry.
” We are aware of your efforts towards repositioning the industry, and as Sports writers, our priority is to ensure that you succeed in your strides towards bringing back the lost glory of the Ministry.
” As we acknowledged your efforts towards reviving the industry, we are also appealing to you to providing workable policies and infrastructure that will stimulate more competitive sporting activities across the country, ” Aigbona states.
Dare is a veteran Nigerian journalist, who has worked in diverse aspects of the media; broadcasting and print with journalism experience spanning over 25 years.
