Tracereporters –Hon. Gideon Lucas Gwani, member representing Kaura federal constituency and Minority Whip of the House of Representatives have described late Mr. Charles Bonat as a “great man.” He said, “His death has created a huge vacuum in our minds, the entire Oegworok nation is terribly pained by his demise and it will take a long time before such a feeling will fade away.”
Adding that, “Bonat impacted us in various unique ways and he played the role model role in the developmental processes of many youths in Oegworokland and beyond. Given the heights he attended in many spheres of life. So, he will be greatly missed by his family, relatives, friends, business associates, political allies, admirers and the Oegworok nation as a whole. Bonat was one of Oegworok finest in-terms of achievements and landmark records he had achieved as a Civil Servant, businessman and politician.
“I pray to God to give us the fortitude to bear this big lost and may God grant us the ingenuity, as a people to carry on with his legacies.”
Bonat was a one time Secretary to the Government of Kaduna State, SSG, in the Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi’s administration and later became a federal Permanent Secretary., House of Representatives aspirant during 2015 election.
