He was speaking to the leadership and members of Restoration Team of Nigeria, a sensitisation organ within the APC which called on him to run for the office of Edo state governor because he is eminently qualified.
Ize-Iyamu who appreciated the leadership of Restoration team for finding him worthy for the call to serve said they would hear from him after his consultations.
The Restoration Team of Nigeria, a sensitisation organ within the APC had on Mobday called on Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to run for the office of Edo state governor saying he is eminently qualified.
The group made their call when the National Coordinator, Comrade Iso Bassey led the leadership of the group and the state chapter on a courtesy visit to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Benin City.
Bassey who said that the group was already mobilising Edo Indigenes across the nooks and crannies of the state for Ize-Iyamu, explained that the clarion call and the endorsement was a well-thought decision that became exigent after extensive deliberations and consultations with key stakeholders in Edo.
He also said that the group had no doubt that Pastor Ize-Iyamu represented the ”good governance Edo state was in dire need of”, added, ”Ize-Iyamu’s antecedents speak volume of his rare qualities, transparency, financial discipline, accountability and fairness”.
The group added that Ize-Iyamu represents the vision and passion for a greater Edo state and we are proud to have endorsed his candidature and eventual succession as the governor of the state.
It said, “We are of the ardent belief that the strategic focus of Pastor Ize-Iyamu administration will certainly build a better tomorrow filled with opportunities, unity and hope for Edolites”.

The above mentioned organization is a national sensitisation organ of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
It had been on existence since the days of AC, ACN and now APC . We have been in the vanguard of propagating the party’s activities and programs.
ENDORSEMENT: Sir, as the sensitization organ of APC that promotes effective leadership /representation, Transparency, accountability and good governance, we are not comfortable with the present administration of Edo State, hence this timely clarion call on you to salvage the situation.
This is as a result of your credence, popularity, pedigree, Antecedents, credibility, focus, passion for service, political will effective leadership and good governance.
We need a man who is mature, experienced, ready, credible, savvy and positively ready to do the job of governor and not the one who only engages in attack and noise making without any tangible things on ground to show as his achievements.
We have looked around Edo state and found no other person to do the job apart from you. It wouldn’t be an easy task, but we believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
