Tracereporters.com –The Director of women mobilisation of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Abuja/Suleja region, Lady Doris Chinelo Nwokedi has declared a 3 day fasting and prayer for the successful burial of the parents of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
In a Press Statement issued and signed by Lady Doris Chinelo Nwokedi, Director of women mobilization, Abuja/Suleja Region, IPOB, stated that the fasting will start on the 11th to 13th February.
According to the Statement, ” I aware of the obstacles and hurdles towards the countdown to the burial particular from the Nigerian government but assured that as a non violent organisation,they will seek the face of God to enable them dismantle all the challanges facing them.
“The fasting will start on the 11th to 13th February,2020″.
Lady Nwokedi further noted that they will never be intimidated by the forces of government as all arrangements have been concluded on how to transport the women of her region to Umuahia for the burial.
According to her ” we are still aware that there is freedom of movement and association in the constitution and therefore we don’t expect any government security agency to obstruct our movement under any guise.”
She declared her unflinching support for the restoration of Biafra noting that Igbos are being treated like 3rd class citizens in their own country.
