Tracereporters.com –Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya (APC Kano South), the chairman Senate Committee on INEC has congratulated the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan CON on the occasion of his 61ist birthday.
In a message, Senator Gaya said that followers of political events in the country can attest to the fact that the real change preached by the ruling party when it assumed power in 2015, is just taking roots in the country adding that the senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan led Senate will make Nigerians look to his time at the upper chamber with nostalgia.
He further said that gone are the days that the executive and legislative arm are at dagger drawn, explaining that the Senate President is aware of the patriotic zeal of President Muhammadu Buhari to bring positive change to the country where every Nigerian irrespective of religious or political affiliation will walk tall that he or she is a Nigerian.
The former Kano State Governor also said that the political will and doggedness of Senate President will no doubt take Nigeria the desired Next Level in no distant future. He explained that Senator Ahmed Lawan is a tested politician whose capability to steer the wheel of the National Assembly for meaningful development is long trusted hence his overwhelming victory in the contest to the plum office.
Senator Gaya calls on all Nigerians not to lose faith and focus in the changes being experienced adding that every sacrifice has its benefits.
He enjoined Nigerians to disregard the divisive tendencies being perpetrated by some unpatriotic elements in the society.
The Kano South federal lawmaker also enjoined the electorates to continue to work and pray for the country and her leadership. Long live the Senate President, long live the Senate and long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amen.
