Tracereporters.com –Borno Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum on Monday flagged off the construction of customs flyover bridge
The 4.28 billion naira construction work which would be completed within eighteen months would be carried out by the Eighteen Engineering Company International Limited.
Governor Zulum during his speech assured the people Borno state of his administration’s renewed commitment to expand and develop township road network system.
Zulum also stated that his administration would in addition to the numerous ongoing road projects within the metropolis engage on the construction of, jiddari polo, Umarari, Ngarannam, Abujan Talakawa, Mala kyari Zannari- Gwozari road, Pulka – Ngoshe road, Biu,Monguno, Ngala and Askira township roads in 2020.
Moreover, Governor Zulum assured that post office flyover work would commence early 2021. Additionally, Borno state Government to ensure work is carried out on Maiduguri-Bama-Banki, Maiduguri-Nagal and Damboa-Chibok-Mbalala raods.
Governor Zulum stated that 30% mobilization fee was paid to the construction firm.
Other activities by the Governor include, inspection of Sanda Kyarimi Secondary School and a proposed new senior Secondary school site along Goni Kachallari.
