Tracereporters.com –The Kaduna state elections tribunal today ruled that the House of Assembly election has quashed the election of the member representing Kagarko local government at the House of Assembly just as it upheld the elections of the member representing Sang local government and that of Makera in Kaduna south local government.

The tribunal in its  ruling said that the former member representing Kagarko constituency at the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Honestly. Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya, has described the nullification of over voting that gave his opponent the Candidate of the PDP, Morondia Tanko, as a victory for democracy.

Reacting to the outcome of the Tribunal in Hon Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya, said the Tribunal having deducted  two thousand invalid votes from him as well as nine thousand invalid votes from his opponent, ordered a rerun of the polls.

Hon Goro, who is the immediate past Deputy Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, pointed out that the Constituents themselves should compare the quality of representation he gave and that of the incumbent whose victory has been nullified, are worlds apart.

The former Deputy Speaker called on his supporters to remain calm as he was optimistic of reclaiming his seat and continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to them.

The tribunal also validated  INEC’s position and reaffirmed the victory of the Member representing Sanga  at the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Mrs. Comfort Anwe.

Delivering the judgement, the Tribunal declared Anwe as the authentic winner of the 9 March polls.

Her opponent,Haliru Gambo, had approached the Tribunal to challenging the victory of Mrs. Anwe.

Reacting to her victory at the Tribunal, the lawmaker pledged to continue to give effective representation to her constituents who deemed her fit to represent them at the House of Assembly.

She equally pledged to extend a hand fellowship to opponent and give him mentoring.
