Millions of people die of cancer due to lack of awareness particularly women,is against this backdrop the wife kebbi governor doctor Zainab Bagudu established and a cancer foundation in birnin kebbi called MEDICAID the center is equipped with modern gadgets for detection and management of cancer patients.
A cross section of people were interviewed, one Sanusi Zaki said doctor Bagudu is a woman of substance she has touched many lives through her various free medical services,he added that she was the first woman to introduce breast feeding room for nursing so their children even at work will adequate breast milk for growth.
Jimcy called on kebbi people to be on alert on cancer and to support this noble woman in her quest to tackle cancer in the state,he urged women to report any sign and aviod self medication adding that cancer is not a hopeless case as many thought once the patient is receiving treatment he or she can live normal life
